Through 5 PM...isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue across interior South Florida. Shower and thunderstorms have been very limited so far today along the Atlantic sea breeze...which lies over the eastern metropolitan areas and will continue to move slowly inland. However...as thunderstorms increase over interior areas...storm outflow will move east and eventually collide with the East Coast sea breeze over the metropolitan areas...to lead to more thunderstorm development. Strong and even a few severe storms will be possible interior and East Coast...with movement east at 10 mph. Stay tuned to statements and possible warnings.
